bad accident
i dont know if any of you noticed that i havent been on in a while or not but i had a bad crash on October 4th. i was coming home from one of my local hang outs and was about 2 minutes from home. the next thing i know is that i am in the hospital. i dont remember any cars coming at me or swirving or anything. long story short, i ended up with 9 broken ribs, broken clavical, and a collapsed lung on my right side. i broke T3-T10 on my spine as well. i needed two surgeries. i got two rods and 12 screws holding my spine together. the had to remove a rib on my left side to perform the second surgery and then fuse it back on my spine. i had chest tubes on both sides but they are removed now. i have no movement in my legs but i do have sensations which is keeping everyone hopeful that the movement may return.
i had a helmet and my bike jacket on so no damage to the head at all! anyway, just keep me in your prayers guys. thanks
oh, i forgot to add that i am still in the hospital, at the cleveland VA. dont know how long i will be here but just starting physical therapy.

nope, no witnesses. i have heard three different stories though. i heard i side swiped a jeep and it caused me to crash into a parked car, hit a pole and land on top of another car. i heard that there was a gold chrystler involved. and last, i heard that there were no cars involved and i just lost control and ended up running into a pole landing on top of a car and falling off. only thing in the story thats for sure is that i hit a pole. funny thing is, i take this little 25 mph road all the time and i had to slow way down to maybe 10mph to turn onto from the road is was coming off of. the accident happened shortly after that, from what i hear. personally, i think someone rear ended me as i was turning and made me lose control and hit the pole but there is no evidence to say yes or no to that.

ouch bro, i feel for you. i had a close experiance almost the like yours. my brother back in 94 got into a bad accident. long story short, lots of differnt stories on what happend[ like your story] but the facts are he ended up under a car with his helmet wedged between the oil pan and road. his head was holding the front of the car off the ground 2 inches. well 6 months later still in the intens care unit with no memorie on what happend, he did finally remember people however. ok so much for a long story short thing.lol anyways ended up 2 years after all this he had to get his left arm amputated do to ripping all the tendions during the crash.
