'02 9R-F1 steering stem nut

Howdy. Just picked up an '02 9R with 739 miles; bike in storage since new (seller lived in Canyon Lake, CA: motorcycles not allowed!). Replacing all fluids, tires, O-rings etc. and currently pulling forks etc. to grease steering stem bearings. Any tips on how to prop the front end up? Rear end on Pit Bull stand; floor jack under engine. Not secure!
And what size socket do I need for the steering stem nut?

Found aftermarked colored stem nut that is 30mm, so I'm bettin' that's the stock size as well.

u can put hooks in your garage ceiling and use straps to hold it up by the handle bars. ummm cant remember the exact size but uhh BIG FUCKING SOCKET. lol just go buy a fairly big adjustable wrench thats what i did
