First performance Mod

My bike was completely stock, performance wise, until about an hour ago when I dropped the front sprocket a tooth, and all I can say is that I want more! I wish I had more money.

Have to ask , is it more acceleration if it is going 1 tooth down is the way to go but remember as far as im aware 1 tooth lost or gained on the front sprocket is like 3 on or off the rear .
Ok if you add one tooth on the front sprocket its like dropping 3 teeth off the back which will make the bike faster top end (if it can pull that gearing ) but would sacrifice acceleration .

Its about trial and error just need to remember 1 extra tooth front = 3 off the back .

if it was me if would lose a tooth off the rear sprocket which i think if its a zx9 F then standard is 41 drop it to 40 . hope that made sense .

-1 +2 is supposed to be optimal but I am going to just settle for the -1 for now. I still commute a lot on my bike so I don't totally wanna kill the MPG, but maybe next year.
