HELP!! Bike dead. Battery Good

after riding all morning I started to go back out for an afternoon ride.
fired right up then when dead like it was just cold, but then it would not
do anything, no lights on, like the battery is dead but, it checks out fine.
Please point me in things to check from there....

ways to check starting with like the ignition switch and then on,

Thank you very much,

What did you check the battery with ? Cause i've seen it where the battery acts like it's good but under load it was shit ...

Digital meter, 13+ volts, but no lights on or nothing when I turn the key,
best way to rule out the switch being bad? it's a '96 zx9r..

thanks,

geez, found the problem, previous owner had done a very bad job or wiring after the motor work was done, and the ignition switch connector had fallen down into the radiator fan
and got 1/2 melted and 1/2 chewed up, when I guess caused the Main fuse to blow,
which I just learned is not in the fuse box with all the other fuses... man, learn something everyday... now just have to figure out what to do about the ignition switch being so chewed up it's pretty ugly, thanks to all

Glad you got it figured out, there is a bike night on Wednesday's at Loco's off Lakeshore if you are up for it. Myself and my cousin on his 7 will be there, come on out and hang-out for a while.
