Tires?

I was just curious as to how much wear the average rider allows to his tires before he gets new ones. So simply put do some people wait til their tires are bald or just really low tread? I dont have much left on my tires but their not bald either so I just want some feedback and opinions about this please

Once the treads are gone i change it right away. it's worth a few hundred miles of tire life to not have a blow out in a hot turn.

Well you know, when the wear lines are the same height as the the tread, it is time to change. Anything past that, and... well, you can get undesierable results. After all, the only thing keeping you off the pavent is that rubber.

Tires are one thing I will not screw around with, either on my bike or my cars. I replace them before they get bald.
If I get a puncture in my bike tire, I'll replace it. I refuse to get a plug in my bike tires.......The cost of a new tire is nothing compared to a high speed blow-out.
But that's just me.

can you say rolling burn outs. when they r low just do a few more, then insert new tire.
