00-01to 2002 pipe swap

does anyone know if a slip-on from a 00-01 fit a 2002 would like the d&d on this forum that's for sale any help welcomed thanks Pete

it should. the one below your post is for a 00-02 so it should mount right up.

I was under the impression that the 00-01 D&D would fit an 02-03...though after doing some research I've seen some that are bolt on, and some that are slip on. The stock pipe s from 01 to 02 are completely different, but the mounting points and hardware all look the same. So it should fit. Can anyone testify to the truth bout this?

From what I see on these:

2001

There is no difference for the bolt up.
And the head pipes are the same stock no also.

thanks 1199!!!

peteylen, like I said, I'm going to double check, but looks like it will mount up. I know that the mid-pipe mount from 01-02 might be a diff. set-up, but its all in the same place. The D&D is the can + the mid-pipe. The mid-pipe mounts to the main 4-1 header clamp and the exhaust itself mounts to the rear footpeg (obviously, duh, just making it clear!)

got it today and it won't fit mid-pipe is same size as the header pipe even with a little work on the mid to make it fit the mid-pipe won't clear the swingarm trying to get intouch with goat today to tell him the bad news I read some place the 02-03 dad a bigger mid-pipe like from 2" to 2.25 for more tork maybe that's why it won't fit tryed everything and it's a no-go
