Speeding Through EZ pass lanes
Hey guys,
Last month me and my friends were ridin on the highway and we came to a toll. we all realized we had no cash on us so my friends just took off. we were about 50 to 60 yrds out, and we were able to get up to about 150 mph by the time we past underneath the cameras( in the ez pass lane). none of us has gotten a tickett yet and it has been over a month now. what is the max speed the toll cameras can cacth u at? would 150 and over make my plates to blurry for the camera? ive done this twice now and have gotten nothing. the second time a went 160 just incase.

Atcually thats my bad. the way the post sounds makes it seem like im speeding through the little individual stations with people in them. i agree that would be dumb and to dangerous. the post should say speeding thorugh the ez pass lanes, which is a 55 mph zone anyways just like the rest of the hwy.

^much better
i speed too mang, but not through the tollbooth. One mistake and u will be in the booth bro
as for the camera, i doubt they will be able to read your plates doing 150mph.
This aint the hubble space telescope camera lol
back home in Jersey i try not too. Too many cops around and not worth the risk

spray you plate with super gloss polyurethane clear, the reflection from the lights at the booth camera reflects off the plate and they cant read it, (old trick)....I do not however suggest going 150 thru the booth, thats just stupid to save a $1 or two. Remember they used to sell that spray on mud for 4x4's? they outlawed it in PA cause people were spraying it on their plates and driving on the pike for freeeeeeee, they said they were marketing it to the upper class SUV crowd who wanted to make their H1's look like they were mudding, a total scam, but the law caught on real quick

First off i must say....that ass on the girl in the pic is inspirational ....and i have heard of this spray. can you see your plates with it on(are they visible?) and again i didnt go 150 thru the booth....that would be dumb. it was thru a ez pass which is 3 non barriered lanes with no booths. just regular highway with a overhead scanner for ez pass and camera to take a pic of plates.

You can travel in excess of 200mph (or try at least) but the video and or film is fast enough to catch you (if there maintianed and working correctly). My company deals in high end custom audio and video systems as well as home automation and theaters. One of the things we do is install camera systems.
And just to back it up if you have trouble believin me check out the Mythbusters episode where they drove a Lamborgini through the traps at close to 200 and had a crystal image of the plate, even after applying several plate blocking paints the only thing that even hazed the numbers was a plate cover with small flakes in it but it was still legible on film.
I think you just lucked out and the system either sucks, is out of service?

get one of those james bond plates that disappears at the push of a button, or make some fake overlays on your computer of some Harley plates, just write em down when you are at a run or bike night
