I am wanting to put a slip on on my 01 zx9, which slipon exhaust has best power and sound for this bike. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

you can actually find out which exhaust has the most powergain by looking at 2wheel tuner mags. even though they are very loud d&d scored second in the power rated behind micron. i have one on my 01 zx9 and it sounds crazy and is fast as hell.

you wont notice a whole lot of power difference with just a slip on anyways, listen to other people's mufflers and decide which you like best

I have a Aluminum D&D that sounds fantastic! Great chorus of beautiful exhaust notes!
Though I would rather have a Muzzy or Micron based on looks, and I think Micron is one of the best systems on the market for the $.

I got a 2 brothers racing on my zx9r, it sounds nice, not a big rip like it has no muffler at all on her like my buddies cbr 600 with a d&d.

Hey. I put a Remus carbon fibre on my 96 ZX9R, more mid range and still great top end rush. Sounds fantasitc and quicker on the 1/4. Hard call as its all personal preference.

I have a D&D and hate it.... for performance you cant beat muzzy or akra... muzzy does R&D for kawi, so their systems are highly specific. The akra is known to do very well with 9r's as well. I wouldnt do a full system as the 9r headers are VERY nice for stock. You wont see much of a difference w/ full exhaust. Other than that, if you want to be loud, just run without a muffler (just kidding, please dont).
