Fixing a fork seal

at first i thought it was brake fluid but its all over the piston on the forks, so that would lead me to believe it is the fork seal leaking as there is nothing coming out of the brakes am i right? if so how do i fix it? thanks

I just replaced my fork seals TODAY, and it really wasn't too bad. Rode the bike afterwards, and it handles muchbetter with new fluid now. Above is a link to a haynes manual that you can download if you don't already have one. Good luck!
