Yes sir! I'm here.
I'm about to send my Marvic rim out to be 'worked on'. The insurance company made good regarding the damage done to the bike and trailer.
Once I get my rim back, hopefully in about 2 weeks tops then and the temps go into the high 40s-mid 50s consistently then I'll get to spraying the airtech bodywork. I may mount them within the next week or so.
On another note I've been a stranger because I entered a NYC Bicycle Racing Series (12 races total) and my first race is this coming Sunday so I've been training. I'll be posting those videos as well. I made some modifications to my other bike:
Specialized Allez Steel
Dura Ace DT Shifters
Dura Ace Cassette (Titanium cogs)
Ultegra Crank
Ultegra Rear Derailleeur
Tiagra Front Derailleur
Michelin Pro Race 3
Michelin Ultra Lite Tubes
Mavic CXP33 custom wheels w/ DT-Swiss 240 hubs

Good to hear. I get nervous when someone's on here all the time and then all of a sudden... Nothing. I start thinking "crash."
Sounds like a cool race, that's a great goal to have. Combines two great things; two wheels and fitness.

Thanks man.
Btw, I got totally smoked in the race on Sunday. At least I didn't quit. Lots of people dropped out complaining that it was too hard, cold, and windy.

Oh THAT race. My bad, didn't forget about it, thought you were talking about a race at a local circuit on the 7... Thought I missed something.
At least you competed and tried, got an awesome workout on top of it.
In a way I like the idea of a bicycle race a little better than a motorcycle race. At least on a bicycle you can't buy speed, you have to condition your body to be able to handle the load through hours of hard work... Money can't buy fitness.

Bro you are sooooo right. Not for nothing everyone there had a high-end bike. I had the cheapest bike in sight but I was okay with that. Running in that race was a real eye opener. I did okay for the first 3 minutes. hahahahaha I even started to pass folks on the big climb but on the descent I made a huge and costly mistake. I shifted in the wrong direction (due to adrenaline) and I didn't hit a good top end speed and lost touch with the pack. Once that happened I immediately fell out of the draft and it was impossible for me to catch up to the group since it was all uphill from there.
Then on top of that I forgot my drink bottle. I left it in the fridge so I rode nearly 20 miles with no fluids. Huge no-no. I started cramping up on the final lap. It was crazy for sure. And it was 40 degrees out. A bunch of people cried uncle and came in early. I saw people on the side of the road who quit. My wife said that one guy came in and said "this is a Man's race and I'm a Woman today". hahahahaa
In spite of falling off the back of the pack I managed to reel in and pass about 3-4 other riders on the final lap who also fell off the back of the pack. It was an adrenaline pumping experience for sure and I know how to train going forward. There's a 3.6% grade hill near me that I'm going to hit repeatedly going forward.
I tell you what..... I'm not putting another dime into my bicycle. The problem was CLEARLY with me and in that sport like you said you CANNOT BUY SPEED. Marketing hype would have you feel otherwise. But to be honest I sincerely believe that with better fitness I could be competitive even with my ride up against $5,000+ bikes.

Update:
Marvic Rear Rim has been sent out for inspection
Will probably start mounting Airtech this weekend
Will probably order a set of these:
After holes are drilled in the bodywork I will add the primer and spray the Blue next weekend.

Let me get back to you on that. Since the bike has been sitting for about 2 months this will be a perfect test.

Overall I'd grade this bodywork a B-. Almost got a C. The construction material is great and it doesn't crack easily. However, fitment of the upper is sub par. Lots of filing was required and my dremmel tool got a workout.
For some reason this front fairing sits kind of low exposing instrument cluster wires
Side panels don't contact the frame which lacks the "Clean" look that the stock bodywork exudes
I had to saw off the Back end of the belly pan to accomodate the kickstand and also to clear the Muzzy exhaust on the other side
Excess fairing material doesn't line up with the windscreen
rear view
I'll probably clean it up a little more and maybe I'll add some fiberglass material on the side panels to clean them up some.
Fender - Good fit
Upper - Sub par fit
Lower - Good fit if running high mount and no kickstand
Quality - Excellent material. Flexible, lightweight, and doesn't crack easily
Fitment - I'm really disappointed with the upper otherwise good kit
Wheel should be back this coming week and then I'll have to wire the headlight finally. Then paint in April. Ready for MAY!!!

Also ordered a set of:

125/80 and 200/55
I liked the Bridgestone R10s however I was not blown away by rear grip. Since I have the ZX-7Rs rear end jacked up a bit I need better feedback and traction from the rear tire.
Both Marvic Rim and tires should arrive this week.
Going to do some more filing of the bodywork to get it nicer and then will begin priming and spraying the Blue.

Well that kinda sucks, but it looks like the overall result is pretty good.
The windscreen thing and having to cut the belly pan would bug me. Could you have notched out the kickstand side to allow for it, sort of like the stock bodywork?
Once filed and painted I'm sure she'll look fuggin sweet. Is there a race tail install in your future?
