She wouldnt start today.

I was riding my bike around town today and I pull into to taco bell to grab a bite to eat. 15 min later when i come out and try to start the bike it wouldnt start. i smelled a little gas around the bike but didnt see any puddles. The bike was cranking it just wasnt turning over. so i waited and tried again once with the choke on then with the choke off. nothing so i waited and tried 5 more times still nothing. i tried with the bike upright with the bike tilted opposite the kickstand and on its kickstand cause it starts better that way. still nothin. so i thought it was flooded and gave up and was going to come back and get it later. I call the girlfriend to come get me. But i thought id give it one more shot. Here is what i did. I had the bike in first clutch pulled in i cranked the bike and slipped the clutch a bit it turned right over.
so thats the trick if it ever happens to u guys

i think it was flooded too because i could smell the gas. it wasnt the clutch switch because it was cranking. if the bike was in 1st gear and i went to press the button nothing would have happened. Just a trick that might come in handy one day

I know that if my gas gets to low and I try to start mine it doesn't seem to have enough pressure or somethin... put a gallon in and it fires right up.... lame

lol, right... was your gas low? I think it's just because my carbs have some miles on them (20k)and I'm gonna freshan them up a bit this winter... My "reserve" pretty much is non existant too so I'm sure they are in some need of cleaning and so on....
