Need information and/or drawings of ZX7RR kit parts
I will be starting my ZX7RR project bike in a little bit and was hoping that I might find some kit parts for sale or at least pictures with measurements so I can possible reproduce them. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail me at kastanbmx@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Jason

I too am building a Walker rep. I am looking for any and all Kit race parts.
Interested in the Kit alternator, WSB swingarm and Akrapovic exhaust the most though.
I do believe that I have a spare gear driven oil pump, carbon fibre airbox, and maybe some other smaller misc parts.
I also have a mate that got me the schematics for the gear driven alternator piece. I have to translate it from Japanese and see if I can duplicate it.

I have a new akro evo pipe if your really interested-carbon air box is a pain in the ass to deal with, you have to mount your coils outside of the frame, as the air box takes every bit of space-

I already have a brand new Akra Ti system, but I am looking for the dual pipe exit Akra system that was used on Walker's BSB bike.
Remounting the coils outside is not that bad. I like having the extra airbox space.

good luck on finding that pipe, for the most part they destroyed themselves after a few race weekends- too light, and stupid expensive, (3800 retail) so unless you find a team that has one that they never 'ran', anything used is going to be riddled with holes/splits-

Swingarm
If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the swingarm from? I've been looking but have had no luck. What price did you pay for it?
Cheers!
Charles

mag bottom ohlins are a waste, one day they will disappear- and there are no longer any new aluminium bottoms, I bought the last of them from ohlins a few years ago-had the mag pieces, they age badly-muzzy still has a fair amount of crap laying around, it is fairly affordable, but they suffer from 75% sickness, they have about 75% of what you need of the assembly, the rest has to be made, so if you have a machinist buddy like I do, then good luck-keep searching and buy an old yana bike, and save yourself some grief- I think chandlers b' bike is available, 12-13k, cheapest compete deal you will find

I just rekindled my ideas to build my ZX7 up. I have a 2001 model with a kitted engine. Total Loss electrical with kit coils, CDI box, and harness. I'm looking for Carbon airbox, swingarm, front end, and rear brake.
I'm not really going for a replica, but I am trying to make it a better bike. I raced it for a year in the CMRA and did okay. Put the new motor in and never ran it again. I've just gotten the time to start putting it back together again and I'm looking for cool bits. So Far:
2001 ZX7R
1997 RR Forks with Ohlins internals
White Power Shock
PM Race Chicane rims
PM 6 Piston front brakes - Thinking of changing this to Brembo
1996 Ex-Canadian Superbike kitted motor (155rwhp supposedly)
39mm Keihin's that were setup for the motor
Kit CDI
Kit Wire Harness
Kit Coils
Muzzy stainless/aluminum round exhaust and Akro Stainless/titanium exhaust
There is not enough money for everything I would like to do. Seems like it would be easier to just buy someone's old race bike.
