im a trader...

im the lover of 4 wheels again! dont worry, i didnt do anything stupid like sell the bike. i did trade my integra for a supra though! basically doubled my hp for free.

rebuilt turbo motor with about 20k on it, hks headgasket, arp studs, apex 3" exhaust from the turbo back. boost maxes out the stock gauge, guessing 9-10psi, maybe putting down 260hp, 280ft...maybe.

so incase anyones wondering where the fuck supra's been at...well i finally lived up to my username

the bike is comming along, just needs the tail and tank finished up then everything gets wet sanded and its ready for color...no rush since its starting to get cool out and i still have a hole in my tire. the car ate up my funds this week, hopefully ill get back on the bike in a week or 2 after i pay this months bills.

useless thread, i know...bored and thought id let yall know what ive been up to.

Sweet, nice trade. You don't see many clean examples of that one anymore. I'm digging the retrofitted wheels too. T-tops FTW!!

well honestly the first night i had it, he got over on me for sure. wheel bearing was bad, it had wrong spark plug wires on it (i really dont know how it was running) the coils had gotten super corroded from it, the targa leaked like hell, headlight wouldnt pop up, coolant and boost gauges didnt work, shifter was missing a bushing, tires were low...now theyre shot, muwhahaha, and the dash is cracked beond belief. speakers blown and antenna broken, blah blah blah...its a supra

its funny because on the supra forums everyone hates em. i dont mind it, seems fairly easy to fix if you have a service manual and the right tools...theyre a little complex as far as, you have to take off 3 things to get to one sensor sometimes but its a really fun car, its different and its boosted.

i wanted something i can drift or just play around with, i was looking at 240's but i knew i wouldnt be happy without boost. with the supra, all i needed was 3-400 in maint but she seems really solid now. drift machine!

That have their own small but loyal following. Working on them is a little bit of a PITA, but it could be a lot worse... you could be into an old AWD Japanese Dodge like me.

Awesome car man, love the older supras. Will be a fun project for you, and a great motor, easy to make gobs of power from what ive heard.

boost and fuel untill the drivetrain starts breaking, very easy to build power. a bud of mine has an evo im looking to take down, another has a cts-v that id atleast like to keep up with...but the v is no match for the 7r, almost close in a 1st gear roll, but theres no replacement for 2 wheels

Supraz, What do you do for Penske? I work as an rental MT in Charlotte right now, but just took a promotion to RSR in Birmingham, AL. I am heading down to there in the next few weeks. I recognized all the yellow and the building...
