Go to bike bandit.com and look it up. They have an expanded view/exploded. It should be easy.

try ebay or a motorcycle salvage yard for one, a new zx-7 starter is expensive

well the starter is fine...it spins fine under power...means the gear inside is probably stripped...anyone know how to get to this gear the easiest?
