you wont be able to just hot wire the bike, the ignition switch has a resistor inside of it....SO, if the resistor isnt there, the cdi will never fire the coils. the best thing i can think of is to just take the ignition switch apart and take out the tumbler pins (little brass things with springs behind them) that way you can just use a flathead or a similar key untill you find a dealer to cut you one by vin...i had to do the same thing when my keys fell off in a truck i was working on, the driver brought them back to me but it was like a month later.
just label each pin with a marker and it all goes back together pretty easy.
youll need to dremel the tamper proof screw to get it out
im going to have to do something similar in my new supra (yes folks, supra FINALLY got a supra!) the ignition switch is different so ill have to grind down the copper pins in the door locks to match the ignition (theyre easier to get out than the ignition)
