how do I wire up an unknown undertail?

I am trying to wire up my undertail but don't know the brand. The undertail has red, black, and green wires on one light and the other has red, black, green, and white. It is an integrated undertail. Any thoughts?

red= positive
black= negative
green= ground wire
white- license plate light

thats just my guess pics would help out some

just wire straight into the existing wires you will have to do a little bit of slicing and sodering unless you have some splicing clamps

red=brake light
black=negative
green=tail light
white=license plate

thats my guess. you can do the trial and error thing too. juss hook it up temporarily and turn it on....if you press the brake and the licenseplate light comes on then ya know you got something mixed up. it shouldnt hurt anything being as everything runs off of 12v. good luck

that undertail is from a company called Moto Fairings... you can purchase off their website or on ebay.

thats the link right to that undertail on their website

for the wiring just ground it with the black wire and send a constant 12v to each wire to see what it lights up... then mark your wires accordingly and then hard wire to your bike.

I have never been a fan of speed clips or butt-connectors or stuff like that (i solder and heat shrink)... but i would suggest using a harness (get a 4 pin from a store or out of an old GM car/truck) or clips of some kind to make taking apart the bike easier.
