im restoring a 1990 zx7r...

so as the title says i am restorig a 1990 zx7r... the plastics on it are in bad shape, they are all in tact but not good.. so im sanding down the pieces and going to spray them at my friends house this winter....
i am thinking a gun metal or red... what do you guys think? it needs to not show defects easily... (not too experienced with body work)

the motor is getting rebuilt has new internals..

muzzy full exhaust and stage 3 jets

take your time while prepping the bodywork for paint. try not to rush it, & you may be able to get at least some of the blemmishes out ! definately use a lighter color for paint !
