nizzmisters is bored out to 770 and all he's got is a stubby exhaust and jets....it rips compared to mine (with almost every popular performance add on)

the zlock kit is the best, but really you would be thousands ahead, and more reliability by putting a zx9 motor in- the motors become handgrenades when you start screwing around with them, 2k worth of exhaust is only good for 2 hp- so what do you think a stroked 750 is really going to get you besides heart ache- and pretty much every 600 is going to eat your lunch anyway- at least with the zx9 motor, your in it less than a grand, and will probably beat a 600 in a drag race-

What's involved in swapping a zx7r motor out for a 9r motor?You'd need the 9r motor with a set of 9r carbs,what else?
Drivetrain upgrade?Ignition?Radiator?

my bud had a zr750 (equally comparable?) and i raped that bike after the launch...he did have a lot of low end torque though, i liked that bike a lot...well, before our co-worker wrecked it into a wall. anyways i tore him up and that was long before my muzzy and good carb tune.

zzr600 is a small sport tourer but FAR from an upright bike
zr750 is a standard made for mild riding.... not a HP monster
complete apples to oranges in comparison to zx750r

not exactly sure the condition of your bike...but ive yet to lose to a 600 yet ive raced a few newer FI bikes as well as carbed bikes..these 7r will pull a 600

i believe the term is fzr600 but regardless the cheapest way to bore would be have a machine shop bore the block for you then buy aftermarket pistons of the appropriate size and install shouldnt be as costly somewhere realtive to buying a zx9 and stuffing it in their. and an fzr would never ever beat a busa hell it cant even outrun an r6 the only way thats gonna happen is if hes running boost and nos and a 24" swingarm

that would be complete backwards... pistons are FIT to the cylinder....
as for an FZR ya thats old tech... i think he does mean ZZR but either way ya look at it.. if the 1000 is loosing to your 9 then the 1000 rider doesnt know how to ride....
