wish i could be more helpful, but as far as E85 goes, I ran it in a boosted car to get higher compression without detonation. It also isnt the best thing for rubber components. Youre carb'ed so im not sure how this would work but I had to be re-tuned when I switched the car.

i wouldnt do it...atleast not full time. itll eat up the rubber in the fuel tank, pump, lines and most importantly the rubber in the float valves. its a bike, you should be getting like 40+mpg, so are fuel prices really worth rebuilding your system?

not saying it WONT work and that itll tear all that stuff up in a couple tanks, ive read a lot of hondas (mainly integra forums) that get great results with the stuff and they dont change a single piece of rubber. now on the long term, well the oem's converted their rubber for a reason...itll eventually do something.

the worst part about ethanol is it collects water, now i donno about your bike, but i already have problems with condensation in my tank after it rains i switch to reserve and she runs like shit for awhile untill the water gets out of the system...now, i just drain the bottom of the tank every time it rains (or atleast before i need to switch to reserve)

It's really not even worth it, you get terrible fuel economy on E85, and your motor will require much more fuel to run it, bigger lines, jets, pump, etc..

If you wanna read up on how the Volvo owners do it then here is a good article that might help you get an idea of what needs to be done to convert to E85

I think you can view this without being a member and if it doesn't work let me know and I can save it on a file and send it to you
