6 parts on 7

Just wondering if a late model zx6r wheels would fit on a 96 to 03 7R?

I played with this a little....the axle size is the same as the zx6r....but you'll need custom spacers to center the wheel. You also loose the speedo drive.

Brake rotors mount right up and the width of them is the same as the 7 wheel.

Rear wheel....I haven't messed with...yet. I am looking at a whole zx6r rear end....but the axle size is again the same...so spacers is probably all thats needed.

How would you incorporate the speedo?

The 6 uses a digital speedo.... The 7R uses a analog speedo.... There would have to be room on the front axle for the speedo hub. If there is not then you lose the speedo. You could look into an aftermarket digital speedo setup maybe?

*update*

I tried to install rear first before I begin to tackle the front and everything looked good until you try to install the rear brake system. First off the 7 uses a larger rear disk which you wouldnt think would be a problem but the caliper will not fit 100% on the 6rs Disk. You would think to just swap out brake disks but 6rs disk holds four bolts, and the 7 has five. Well, it sure would have been a nice swap out! Ohh well!
