Bike Help Please!

I have a 1995 ninja zx7 and i just got done putting a clean used pair of carbs on it. Well i went to start it up and it started but when i go to rev it up it revs up uncontrolably, and it takes a few seconds for it to come back down to idle position. The carbs have not been synced yet....could this be the problem?...or should i be looking for other problems like air leaks from the carb boots or something.....

Check for clogged idle jets!
They are in here, Use a Flat Head screw driver just small enough to fit in the hole the arrow is pointing to.

sorry thats not it, any other suggestions?

So it's getting extra fuel right?? Is the throttle stuck on?? Choke spring or slider is stuck on as well?? Bad Carbs>???

If the engine when revved Accelerates uncontrollably It means a Lean Condition.

Usually due to Low float bowl levels or Clogged idle jets.

Basically the engine is running a lean Air to Fuel Ratio. Leaner=Hotter.

Also runs the risk of damaging the internals of the engine.

Well i am going to take the bike to a shop and have the used carbs put on and have the bike tuned right...I might as well have them re-jet it as well....but thanx for all of your help guys, just wondering what was going on...
