ZX-7R power??

Hi everyone!

I have a ZX7R with only a Micron exhaust and a K&N filter fitted.

The bike is booked in with JHS racing for a Dyno run next week. What are your guesses for rear wheel power output???

im gonna take a wild guess Since I dont have a year, Since a General Stock ZX7 Puts out 90 KW=120 HP. Somewhere in the range of 115-125 HP

i never knew they put down that much...another 20-30 and its almost as strong as my honda, lol. i dont have a tach and ive never pegged a gear yet... i just let go when it gets really really loud...plus not being street legal, i havnt gotten to get a true test of power on a long road yet.

post the dyno chart and what year your riding, im just curious what the torque curve looks like after 4k, (guessing thats where it starts pulling...then alot harder around 8-9)

And the winner is................davewaibel! The dyno showed 113bhp.

Although there is a problem between 5000 and 9000rpm! The bike is running very lean, so I'm going to put the bike back to stock and have a dyno re-run.

It shouldn't make any difference to the power but will help the bike run better!

yes it was awesome- problem is a gsxr 1000 weighs nearly 80 lbs lighter, and 168hp bone stock- will run for years- a 750 built superbike at 154, will blow quickly.
