I have been looking everywherrrrre for a motor for my 97 zx7. I need something soon so I can get some good fall riding in. I need a 96-03 zx7 engine, or a 95-97 zx9 engine. With the 9 i would also need the carbs. I would prefer to have the gauge cluster that goes with an angine also. Please let me know, I have cash in hand. thanks
Have you checked ebay? I have bought a bunch of stuff from there with no probs. Just check the sellers feedback first and send them a question before you bid.
Good luck finding one. ive been looking for a 9r for about 2 weeks, real hard this last week and have came up short of nothing. if you find anything let me know. ill even buy a brand new one
the 9r conversion is quite easy and well worth doing unless you want to spend serious cash on the 7r motor, have you tryed 'red monkeys' zx7r owners club, there are a lot of members in the usa and they are usually great with advice and parts for sale
