There's nothing stock about that setup. Those are race fairings with an aftermarket headlight. You can do a projector setup with the stock headlights but you have to pull the lenses apart to rig it all up. I'm sure that someone has done a write-up on it.

Oh, oops. Well, in that case, not without a good deal of modification. The frames are different shapes so I am sure you would have to do some carving and sub-frame modification but the rest would be fab-ing up the bracketry to support the new skins and re-routing some plumbing and electrical. Anything can be done with enough time and money.

Anything is possible. but keep in mind that 04-05 fairings are cheaper than the 06-07 fairing. With that being said, the shape of the front fairing is also alittle different based on the yr. If this is not a concern, than use either one you can afford.
I would rather get front zx10 clip and mate it to the zx7r fairing. all fiberglass. this way the mian fairing will be inplace and mating the two will be simplified. The zx10 fairings are too jagged for that zx7r sweeping tank.
the zx636 subframe can be modified to fit the zx7r with minimal effort and will match the zx10 fairing. Just a thought.
Good Luck.
Just know one thing, if you think you will do this mod for UNDER $1000.00. You are wrong. Not trying to rain on your parade, just letting you know that once you start something like this the headaches will pop up.
The head light mod alone will cost $350-500.00! that's for the customizing and maynot include the fiberglassing.

Personally I think it was a nice attempt but end result is kinda weak. Nice in some respects but not something that I would present to the world. Def. a work in progress.

I like the lines of the ZX-7R the way they are. If you want a custom light solution why don't you just order the fairing from air-tech and keep the stock 7 lines?

http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/...X7R1996-03.htm

3ZX7R1C KAWASAKI ZX7R UPPER FAIRING - COMPETITION $172.15 (no headlight hole cut)

3ZX7RWSB1 KAWASAKI ZX7R UPPER FAIRING - SUPERBIKE - ONE HEADLIGHT $401.11

Just another option that might be cheaper

i have seen them and its going to be driven on the street and i dont wat to fab my own head light so the race fairing isnt going to work and the single headlight isnt going to be that much cheaper because i would have to have them painted the fairings i was going to order are painted that and the single headlight looks weird......
