Which brake lines? Spiegler,Galfer,Hel? Best price?

Looking to upgrade my 09zx6r and wondering who has best prices and which ones to get. Don't really care about bling so either black or charcoal or silver is fine with me (no pink). Will also be getting speed bleeders so if anyone has recommendation let me know.

Mods: 09 ZX6, Shogun sliders, shogun double screen, M4GP slip on, Motion Pro Throttle kit.

In my research...they're basically all the same.

Some said Galfer has yellowing issues for being left in the sun, but it seems like the majority of those people didn't have personal experience with it...and the people that had galfer lines reported no such problems.

I'll probably go with spiegler myself. I'll try hardracing.com first, if they can't get it, I'll use sportbiketrackgear.com

I got the HELs-no issues. Got mine in black to match all the cables, but they come in multiple colors, too.

1Fastrider, I'm also looking into upgrading my brake lines and have been thinking about HEL, Spiegler or Venhill. I think I'm going to go with Venhill, they seem to be on par quality wise with the others but much cheaper. Maybe some riders on the other side of the pond can chime in on the Venhill's?

I've never heard of Venhill. If there are reviews or first hand experience I'm open to suggestions though.

I have red spiegler brake lines awaiting install, but my bike is still new so awaiting my 3-4k miles before brake line replacement.
and i do trust spiegler, their R&D is unorthodox. HAHA
$160.00 for both set on kneedraggers

I also have the goodridge speed bleeders awaiting install as well.

and as a bonus FYI.. a vortex adjustable rearset, nice to able to ajust my foot positions.

I think may end up being my install plan. the bleeders and spiegler. Just need to get the best price as I want to get some track plastics also so trying to keep costs down.

I honestly went with spiegler because of my bike's theme.. black on black on black with red accents :) and i liked the red brake lines.. if it wasnt because of color. i would of went with goodridge superbike pro race lines. Pro's trust it. but not DOT approved :(

power hungry cops can give you a ticket for them.

I like my Goodridge lines, but be careful if you get anything in red, it will fade to pink eventually.

I had red brake lines on my previous bikes. how long does it usually turn to pink? my R6 rode 4 years with no fade and always hanging in the sun actually a little too much till my seat hardened up and needed replacement. maybe the 5th year? sadly never saw that because i traded that baby for a zx :)

thats just the company showing you how good their brake lines are.. if it can handle 400lbs they assume that they wont break on you.
as i mentioned. their R&D is unorthodox :)

Venhill is new to the U.S. market but they've been making braided lines for 40 years or so in the UK. They've been run by British racers in lots of races, including the IOM TT. You should be able to find some reviews through google but nearly all the reviews will be from Europe. BTW they are DOT and TUV approved too.

Love my Spiegler's. With the rotating fittings, you can't go wrong. I got mine from sportbiketrackgear.com and I got a custom length from them in less than a week. Good stuff
