There isn't a ZX-6RR for 2007..the 2007 ZX-6R is using the 599cc motor from the 06 ZX-6RR..there is no more 636
And the 2005-2007 ZZR600 is the same as 00-01 ZX-6R (ZX6 J model)...the 03-04 ZZR600 is the (ZX6 E model)---two completely different bikes

Sorry CandyFire but I think your incorrect as well. See the new 07 zx6r motor is not the same as the 599cc bikes in 06. Just because the 06 zx-6rr was 599cc doesnt mean they are the same motor. If you look it up, you will see that Kawasaki is boasting the new motor as being completly new and in fact the are saying that they are so sure about the performance with it that they are doing away with the 06 zx-6rr 599cc motor and the 636.
I found it in CycleWorld magazine.

I have an 2005 zzr600 and believe that it is the same as 98-02 zx6r. All 02 parts fit my bike perfect so far.

The colour you guys are asking about is called Pearl Wildfire Orange.
It's metallic so in the shade it's just plain orange but in the sun (not as we've seen that for a while in the UK) it looks superb with a gold tint to it though you can't really tell it's metallic till you get up close.
Didn't think you guys got the orange one in the US. I wanted red or silver but we don't get them in the UK so it was black or orange. Figured the orange showed off the bikes lines better (and was more visible to blind cage drivers) but have to admit the black looks the best of the lot when viewing the front straight on - soooo mean and moody

I might start a flame here with this comment but...I guess I was lucky to get a 636. All I've read for the new zx-6R and the cc drop is that the azz-kicker for 07 is the CBR...

He is correct. Kawsaki completely changed the 07 ZX-6R Ninja from the 06 ZX-6R Ninja. There is hardly any parts that are interchangable between the two. As far as the motor, I have a friend who has an 06 and believe me, they are not the same. My stock motor runs circles around his money motor, so once again, they are not the same.
