Has Anyone Tried -1 +1?

I've had -1 (15) on the front for almost 7 months and just a few weeks ago went to +2 (45) on the rear and I admit it was a thrill. The final drive ratio (FDR) went from 7.081 to 7.410.

Has anyone tried -1 (15) (44) on the rear for a 7.245 FDR? It's ~4 mph faster or 1/2 way between the two FDR's -1+2 and -1

-1/ Just wondering how you liked it?

I've run out of mods and got to tinker with something........

I didn't do the -1 in the front but i went up the 7 in the back! I LOVE IT.. easy to raise the front when i shift, which is one of my fav things to do. Down shiftings tricky at first at high speeds... but overall.. didn't mess with me and made 5mph wheelies a cake walk!

Damn that's a 7.719 or something like that. Jeeeze will it run over a 100. I bet it will power wheelie in 5th. I'm talking about splitting the diff. between 43 and 45 teeth or 7.081 and 7.410 or 7.245. Wow)*^^$%#&

Maybe some ASV brake and clutch levers. Everyone that has installed aftermarket levers, raves over em.

Ain't no HP with that! I need the long ones honestly. I'm an old fart with arthritis in the hands and it helps having the big'uns. That's also why I spent $140 for the Kuryakyn sport bike grips. Nice and fat and not like holding on to a pencil.

Hmmm... Well, I had a 15-50 (no joke) when I bought the bike. I couldn't keep the bike down, even in corners. Power wheelies in sixth gear at 80 were just too obtrusive, and so was the max speed (approx 145). After playing around a bit, I like my 14-42 set. I can pass without downshifting, but still have the range to go fast enough to actually pass... Pop up isn't bad, either.

Stock on my '05 was 15-43

That would be 6.916 on my bike. What you do is take the 6th gear ratio x the primary output ratio x the R/Fr ratio for the final drive ratio.

What I'm saying is on a 07-08 -1 on Fr is 7.081 and -1 +2 is 7.410 and -1 is 7.245 exactly 1/2 way between. This is the combo I'm asking about please.

Well I'm going to try it just so someone has I guess. 44/15 we go next week. -1 was not enough and -1 +2 may be a tad much so -1 we go and see what happens.
