08 is the same. You have the tach and 4 lights across the top and a red light to the right of the speedo. That is the oil pressure light.

When the bike is off it will blink cause there is no oil pressure. When the bike is running it should be off cause there will then be oil pressure. If it's still on while the bike is running, then you have a problem.

Thought the red light is the fault indicator light, which can indicate a variety of issues, including low oil pressure. The 07-08 6R has a little graphic of an "oil lamp" below the speedometer to indicate specifically when there is an oil pressure problem.

It shouldnt have an issue with oil pressure doing a wheelie. I have an 07 for my stunt bike. strictly stunt use. it is on one wheel more than its on two....or on its side... ive never had oil pressure issues with mine

When they design these bikes and decide where to put the oil pick-up, they plan on them being on two wheels. You are probably losing oil pressure when you lift the front end because all the oil is sloshing to the back of the oil pan where the pick-up can't get it. If you do wheelies for extended periods, you're doing damage to the engine. Not a big deal if it's a piece of shit you just bought to beat on and do stunts. I don't think the light means it's a FI issue because the system is pressurized and not gravity fed.
