oes vs. shogun vs t-rex
Which frame sliders would you recommend or are they all the same? Is it me or are the oes sliders longer than the others?

I have the OES and love them saved my bike twice. Only from a tip over but it still saved the fairings from getting messed up. Plus I know OES are a no cut setup and thats what I wanted.
I would get all the sliders if you can, The Axle, Frame, and Swingarm.

Hmm...I've never seen axle sliders before. Seems like the fairings will take the brunt of the damage before the concrete gets to the axles.

I just got a pair of the t-Rex sliders. I like them. I haven't tested them out yet and hope to never do so but I like their design and that they are no cut. Also they are lightweight and not metal

I know when my bike tipped over I had nicks on all of my sliders so that tells me the axle and swingarm ones do help and more then likely protected my paint on my forks from getting nicked up also. Plus they make the bike like nicer with all them on. Just my opinion.
here is there site and they have all of them on there.

Shogun. Hands down. So far, mine have survived a low-side, and a truck impact.

OES SLIDERS SUCK MONKEY BALLS!!! my wife dropped the 07 ZX6R at like 5mph bending the supposedly grade 12.9 bolt and the left OES slider snapped off like a toothpick, I send OES pics and never even got a response from them showing their quality of customer service. I replaced both sliders with T-REX sliders which are the same ones I put on my new 08 ZX10R and absolutely love them, Tom over at T-REX has awesome customer service.

The most important thing to realize when it comes to sliders is not the actual delrin slider itself, but the grade of bolts the company uses. I use KR Tuned sliders myself, a friend of mine opted for the cheaper sliders and when he dumped his bike the slider snapped off as if it was being held by a pencil. The bolt snapped instantly with not too much force either and those $30 sliders cost him a shit ton of cash. Most of the big name brands stick with high quality bolts.
And dont get fancy with your sliders. I see alot of guys with these bling bling chromed out sliders that are more for show than anything else but wont dow shit as far as protect the bike. Or spike sliders even, what's up with that nonsense? If you take a low spill on that bike that billet alum spike is being driven straight through your leg if not worse places.
Stick with the big name brands and you should be fine. If you want to play it safe go Shogun.

like digital said, grade of bolts is the important piece on them, myself I don't trust "any" of the company's bolts so I go out to a hardware store and get the 12.9 bolts that I know is for sure that grade. Whats other 2 bucks if that for 2 bolts that I know is 12.9 grade.
