Indeed. That's the very bike I was looking for when I bought my ten. For that price grab it!

I think I"ll do just that! I'm supposed to close the deal with the seller tomorrow. If my original zx6r gets repaired to original condition, I might just fix this one up and sell it to a friend at cost. Poor guy has the worst luck. Just had his bike stolen.

If I lube up the chain, should that be ok? I don't have to buy another chain do I? Also, I noticed that you have the same bike. How come the silver ones don't have the "zx6r" sticker on the upper fairings and the tail fairing?

Ah, I didn't notice that this one was missing those. Mine has them. That just means they were either removed, or those are repainted/new plastics. That bike has a possibility of being wrecked more than once. Still a smokin deal though.
The o-rings on the chaing could be trashed if it was nelgected like that, I'd just replace it or have bike mechanic look at it if you're not sure.

Before you buy a brand new chain you may want to try just cleaning it really well. Could be just a little surface rust. So clean real well and then lube really well and see how it looks. You may have to replace it anyways but who knows maybe you wont. Just my thoughts. My guess is the decals were probably removed. Also looks like you may be able to salvage those fairings with some body work. Then you would just have to have them painted. Just another thought.
Hell of a good deal though. I would jump on it as quickly as possible.

I'm buying it today. :) Had a Kawi dealership look it over and they said everything is in tip top shape. I lubed the chain and rode it for a day. Rust is pretty much all gone. Can't check the o-rings though.
But I'm so pissed! Saw a left upper fairing on ebay for $50 shipped. Only had some tiny scratches that are barely visible. I refreshed and refreshed, no one else bid (only 1 bidder). At the 1 minute remaining mark, I entered my bid......and the internet connection went down......for 1 minute and 10 seconds! AAAHHHHH!!!! I was furious! Could have made this bike look nearly perfect for $50! Stupid Novell!

Oh man, I would be spitting nails for a week! At least you'll have a new bike to keep a smile on your face.
