So I had a little while between classes today and rode over to the Checkers just off campus and was having lunch and saw some guy on a new body style green 250 go riding by on the highway riding like a retard, and heard a guy up by the order window say "whoah he bout got killed, he's dumb as hell." well that fits the description of the riding style of about 99% of the sportbike riders at my school, so i didnt think much of it. I finished lunch and went riding around for a few mins before i had to head back to class and was rolling down a back road in front of the county hospital and a motorcycle cop starts yelling at me from the lane going the opposite way and does a u-turn and pulled up behind me at the light.

i was trying to figure out what i'd done, because i was stuck behind a car w/ a handicap tag in a hospital zone which means i was doing every bit of 2 1/2 mph....he pulled up next to me and i hear him get on the radio and say "I found the lime green bike!" and then proceeds to ask me if i'd just been hit by a car, i said no, which should have been obvious since he got a good look at both sides of my bike and should've been able to tell it is mint...and he asked if i was sure...apparently he didnt believe me cuz he kept giving me crazy looks, and finally after i reassured him it wasnt me he radioed back in and told them nevermind and told me to go on. the light turned green and he gassed it and shot in front of the left turn lane and uturned in front of about 3 oncoming cars and took off

i didnt think much about it till about an hour later i wound up pulling up on the same cop at a different stoplight, and he asked me again if i was sure i hadnt been hit. said he'd been all over town looking for the bike and mine was the only green one he'd seen all day, so at that time i remembered the 250 and told him how he was driving like a moron and what not and it was probably him. he finally told me they had received a call saying a green bike had been hit by a car and the car ran, and apparently the rider was ok, to some degree, because he was able to get back on the bike and leave too, without calling the cops. the cop had checked all the hospitals and everything looking for that guy....sure wish they'd been that concerned about me when i tboned that dodge ram a year ago...it took them 30 damn minutes to get there just to write up a report....

no real point to this just the most interesting part of my day ha

at least there trying to do their job you dont see that everyday that they are actually trying to do soemthing worth doing and not just bothering bikers.

i asked about it on a local forum and a buddy of mine said he knows who it was they'll never find him...cuz it wasnt a him...ha but he hasnt said yet if she's ok or not...and that apparently the guy on the 250 he also knows and still doesnt understand how he hasnt been in a wreck yet cuz he rides like such a newbie squid.

i made sure to bs w/ the cop a lil bit the 2nd time so maybe next time he's out harrassing bikers and he picks me he'll let me off ha....never know

Ya! only time the cops are around is when you don't need them. It was probably one of the guys friends that hit the 250 thats why they didn't report it. Tell him thanks for the high insurance rates if you see him.

i'm not sure if it was a 250 that got hit. the 250 i saw was just a guy riding like a jackass...but the other ninja that got hit was a girl...my buddy was supposed to have all the details today but i havent heard from him yet...he said he assumes she's ok since she rode off ha

are they the same? we have both in mississippi....well a few of each...dont see em much....i think its pretty good ha but i have a cast iron stomach. my spanish teacher last semester was always talking about it in class so i figured i'd try....but she was fresh across the border from venezuela too so she was probably pretty tolerant too ha, the only thing i got out of that class was getting to stare at her for an hour and 15 mins twice a week....oh and a D
