Quick rev, then stall?

Hey guys just trying to see if this has happened to anyone else and what might be the problem. I have an 08 zx6 with close to 10k miles. My problem is that I'll be on the gas in 1st at slow speeds, pull in the clutch and blip the throttle just a little while I start applying the brakes and next thing I know, it stalled. It has happened to me a couple times shortly after I got the bike but never thought much of it. Over the weekend I was running the 1/8 mile and only a couple times after I did a small burnout, I'd pull in the clutch and it died. Then today it did it to me again as I was pulling into my driveway. Bike runs fine otherwise, just hoping it's something stupid that can be easily fixed. Any help is appreciated!

Sounds to me like the bike is shutting down from either low rpms or the bike is being flooded and it shuts off to save you from detonation. What mods do you have?

just adjust the idle....that little dial on the left side just infront of your rear set...start your bike and just start adjusting it a bit at a time and get it set to about 1500rpms...some say more or less, like 1350 and junk like that, but last i checked my tach doesnt give me anything that specific so i just stuck it at half way between 1 & 2 grand. my bike did that untill i adjusted it...if that doesnt fix it then you've got a bigger problem somewhere else

edit: which would be a big to the comment about low rpms because thats all it is causing it to stall

Jake's got it right... my bike had the same problem. Adjust the idle and you should be golden.

Well, my idle was set slightly under 1k so I think you all are right! Seems much better at 1500. Thanks for the input guys!
