congrats, i was lookin to get one too but i have some stuff to save for so im just gonna work on the bike i have now. 2 things i always say (especially to new riders is 1, dress for the fall not for the ride... and 2, ride within your limits, dont let other people on the road instigate u into doing something u dont feel comfortable doin. (watched my buddy try to do a wheelie and he flipped it ride back on top of him because kids in a truck wanted him to pop a wheelie)
have fun. theres nothing like it

You haven't even made it out of your driveway and you crashed and burned? Are you friends with kawiforlife?

I always take new riders to big open parking lots to practice the basics like friction zones, balancing and shifting. If you haven't get some gear, take the MSF course, and start off slowly. Good luck and welcome
