my clutch cable is frayed

my friend told me that there was a recall on the 05-07 model years for clutch cables but wasnt sure about the 08. i only have 5k miles, so wouldnt expect to have this problem. i wanna fix it, but i dont wanna dish out the money before check to see if its a recall i could get fixed for free.

please let me know

If you can't afford a clutch cable, maybe we can pass the hat and take up a collection to get you back on the road. Walk into your friendly local stealeship fat dumb and happy and tell them what you need. If there's a recall, they'll take care of it since it doesn't cost them anything, either. If not, you needed it anyway.

well mine broke at 10k miles...it frayed at the lever

no recall then this was about 6 months ago

just replace it yourself its only going to cost you like 20 if you pay 40 or more then it better be aftermarket
