a frame slider is to prevent damage to fairing caused by a bike falling over. its to prevent major damage or total lost of fairings. this is where i purchase my frame sliders:http://www.dscbikeshop.com/products/...rs-yamaha.html

and just to expand on it a little more, it attaches to the frame of your bike and extends out past the fairings. the bike falls on that instead of your fairings.

actually.. a FRAME slider isnt meant to protect the fairings at all. its mean to keep your FRAME from being bent in a crash or slide.. the fairings however expensive are replaceable.. the frame once its bent its done son!!

anyway i got a site to add for windscreens for my ZX6R buddies.. the elusive RED windscreen has been found! this is where i got it from.
