Wreck pics!

We know you all love and hate to see them.
This is from when I went down when it was extremely cold out here in Chicago and my local town decided to clean out the fire hydrants or whatever! Lol.

Going about 15-20 going left around a turn and rear tire slipped, had bike almost all straightened out, and then it caught hard and proceded to slam down on the right side.

Wishing I had frame sliders now... LOL!

Anyone have any recommendations on what to do with my fairings? I want to keep the racing green by far, but unless I can snag some off Ebay for fairly cheap, I'm looking at buying a whole nother set of fairings.

Will probably sell off the windscreen if anyone wants. Just light scuffs. Going to put a DB on it.

doh, sounds like a bad situation. There's a neighbor on my street that washes his damn car about every day so I have to straighten up for soapy water constantly. Ice is worse.

Yeah. It was the suck. Apparently it sounded a shitload worse than it actually was. Pretty sure my rear-set ground itself on the ground, as well as my tank did a tad bit. I missed taking a picture of that somehow! Lol.

I remember going into the turn, going oh shit not cool, oh shit oh shit alriii BAMMMMMM! and sliding and I flipped or something and I saw the bike slide for a second as well. Quite exhilirating, but going to be damn costly! Atleast I have a tank I can use now if I ever want to go around stunting.

I just laid mine down last Saturday @ 80mph. Talk about a rush! Somehow my bike has less damage than yours though. It slid down the dirt side while I flipped down the road.

You never know how you're gonna fall though. Looks like your bike took a bad flip or something judging from the scuffs on your windshield?

All I remember was one second I was up, next second I was down. It wasn't like putting your bike down. Momentum most have caught the right way and just flipped my ass off. I wasn't going fast enough, or at a goofy ass angle for it to flip.

Im just glad it's all still mechanically working and it's mainly cosmetic damage done. If I had the tools (god knows I have the time) and the know-how I would go at it to try and fix that fairing, but it's pretty mangled.

I rode it around the block the other day one footed. Waved and waggled my foot to my neighbor and she was like "WTF!". Was also going about 45 when I cruised past her. My streets I know like the back of my hand and I feel safe with them.

Only problem I forsee having is once I get the bracket, not sure exactly how to get the brake pedal all hooked up. I know there's a spring that hooks to it to make the brake light work, but I can't picture the whole assembly in my head just yet. Need to get a bracket in my hands to do it all.
