HELP: Rear Turn Signals Not Working
A previous owner pulled the turn signals when removing the fender and never put turn signals back on. I recently bought an LP Integrated Tail Light so I could have turn signals. The Tail Light came with two wires and the brake light plug. I believe I found the wires that go to the turn signals. It is 2 pairs of black/colored wires. A previous thread told me that the colored wire is "hot". I connected the colored bike wires to the integrated tail light wires. When I turned the turn signals from the handlebars no green light went on from my dash and the turn signals did not work. I thought maybe it was the fuse, but I replaced that and still the green light would not go off. I've heard of a switch that could go out, but I don't know where that is. Also, I heard it may be the relay. However, I recently replaced my relay with a 2 terminal automotive one. Since LEDs make the turn signals flash faster I thought the automotive one might slow it down. The relay is wired clean, but something is up still. Anybody have any ideas?
