It doesn't look like he hit anything, it looks like it just went straight through the plastic. But you might want to doublecheck that he didn't drill through your adjustable powerband.

the 07's ecu is in the same spot. what you're talking about is actually the relay assembly.

The ECU on the '07 and the '08 is in the same spot. Don't think for a second that the same thing won't happen on your ''07 if you try that...
I would strongly advise that you modify your post to prevent someone with an '07 from thinking that it might be okay to put a hole in those spots...

I wouldn't say that there are a lot of morons on this forum, but there are a lot of people that are not educated about their bikes . some have no mechanical or electrical experience at all. But that is why we're here right... we all have questions and somebody on here usually has an answer. so for everyone here that is going to make some sort of statement of any sort, please educate yourself before posting it. Or else these guys will eat you alive. For the guys with the correct answer, try not to jump down other peoples throat. Let's try to keep the attitude to a minimum

kinda funny how that works isn't it... but at the same time this is one of the most informative forums that I've seen. take the good and try to ignore the bad. Or at least set them straight and put them in their place, lol
