Hesitation after bike was down

A friends grandpa backed into my 1996 zx6r and knocked it over onto the right side. Now when I warm the bike up it hesitates from about 3k rpm up. I don't see any vacuum lines loose or anything, so I don't know why this would happen now. Anybody have any ideas? I'm trying to avoid taking it to a shop and getting charged a ton of money because the guy who hit it doesn't have a lot of money. If it's something simple i'd rather fix it myself and save him a few bucks rather than have some shop charge him a ton of money for a simple fix.

During/after warmup. When it's just sitting in neutral it doesnt hesitate nearly as much as when i'm actually riding.

kinda sounds like your having some sort of fuel delivery problem. either a vacuum leak that you haven't found or an adjustment screw that's misadjusted

I don't think it's a vacuum issue because it idles fine. It's just when I start riding it bogs and hesitates.

when it bogs and hesitates, does it pick up afterward? or does it just run like crap all the way through the rpm's?

It really only does it at half throttle or less. If I get on it, it comes back to life but still runs a little bit rough

almost sounds like it's dumping fuel into the cylinder. Carbs may be out of adjustment

You think getting knocked over would get the carbs that out of spec? I was thinking maybe some shit got knocked loose and clogged the fuel filter or something... I'll try replacing the fuel filter and if that doesnt work i'll find someone to check out my carbs.

if the filter was clogged, it would run like crap at low rpm's and run worse at high rpm's. give it a try anyway

Looks like it's the carbs, I went over all the hoses, replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the air filter, still hesitates. You think all they will need is a cleaning and sync?
