engine break in

I know this is a very controversial topic.. but.. i've been reading and lots believe that the rings don't seat very well creating a good seal unless the engine is ran through its full rpm range (not all the time, but 1-2k before redline then let it go back down to 2k) Any input on this would be appreciated.. i'm at about 225mi right now.

thanks

I'm sorry, I don't really want to give you shit or anything but if you do a search you will find what you need. Just recently there was a thread about this with input from a bunch of people and there is no way I could rehash all of those posts. So search "engine break in" and you will find what you are looking for.

Here's another one.

This site and others have been a bastard for the past couple of days. I guess the search is kinda still screwy too because I didn't come up with a whole lot of options either.
