05' 6r problems.... please help

first bike i have posted in mechanical section but thought i might have some more help in the 6r section the other moves really slow lol.

i just bought a 05' zx6r for $1500 it has been laid down a couple times im guessing by the aftermarket cracked fairing and broken oil case cover on the left side.

the bike has been attempted to be stolen the ignition is dangling and the bracket broken. any key can start it.

the problem...... Then battery was dead! so we wrigged up another for it, and it started right up, i now have the bike in my possession but did here it start b4. well now the bike wont start??? it does crank and wants to start but it isnt getting fuel??? anywhere i should start, obviously the fuel pump. but how do i get to the fuse panel? and anything else i should check?

other then that the fuel throttle sticks and doesnt return to the original position by itself.

any help would be awesome this is my first bike and i dont know much about them, and searching this has been a nightmare!

the fuse panel is located on the inside of the right fairing. sounds like you throttle cable is misadjusted. you should have about 8mm of freeplay

If it has aftermarket plastic, I would check to be sure the throttle cable routing is right...if not it may be pinched somewhere not allowing it to return
