Straight race fuel probably won't do you much good unless you've done internal motor work. It works better in motors with a higher compression. You can blend race fuel with premium gas for some benefit. Usually at a 25/75 ratio like 1 gallon of race fuel to 3 gallons of premium.
It does smell good when it burns, I used to love seeing the AMA 250 GP class back in the day, 2 strokes on race fuel & pre-mix, smells volatile!!! Can't wait to see & smell the MotoGP 125 & 250's race in Indy!!!!

not where I live. Although we've got VP110, C12, U4.2, and MR9 at the shop. I believe infineon raceway has everything on pump

that U4.2 & MR9 is some very good fuel to run, can gain some hp by either one by just pouring it in and tuning afterwards

true, but not worth the price unless you're racing.

what about regular gas...I was working all night, got off, rode about 20 miles home and fuel light started flashing? Tired as hell, accendently filled up with regular? What are my options? I was thinking like autozone for some octane booster or something..not to sure any suggestions?

Running race gas (100 octane, 110 octane, whatever is available) will only net you anything if your engine is tuned for it and realistically, you need to have control the timing advance in order to make a difference. Anyone who puts it in and thinks it makes a difference is probably experiencing the placebo affect. Race gas burns slower than regular gas. It doesn't magically make power.

Most octane boosters are worthless. Just keep the RPMs low and the throttle light and it will be fine. Burn through the tank taking it easy, and then fill it with 93.

i disagree with what u are sayin, i had my bike tune on pump and it race gas and made 5 more HP by bumping up the timing alittle, motor is bone stock besides that

don't worry about it. one tank isn't gonna hurt anything.

go buy the STP Octane booster. It only costs like $4 and it will boost it to around 100-110 octane. just dont pour the whole thing in your tank, only use like half at the most, cause its for cars. if your engine/motorcycle is new, i would NOT recommend using it until your engine is fully broken in.
