Tips for drag?

Hey ive only had my bike for bout a month or so and its my first bike but im really curious to see how i do at the local strip. i take my car up all the time and it seems the launch either makes u or breaks u. ive never realy tried to launch my bike due to fear of the front coming up faster than im ready for. but it seems everytime i try to take of hard from a stop i bogg it pretty bad....any pointers? its a stock 03 zx6r with a m4 slip-on?

welcome and i have a 04 636 i dragrace, mods listed in my signature, best advice to you is get your self a front end tie down strap for 20 bucks, it helps out a ton for keepin the front end down when launching hard, how much do u weight that plays a factor, and lowering the rear 2 or 3 inches will help out also, are u plan on runnin 1/8 or 1/4 mile

Also since ur gonna drag it it'd be nice to drop a tooth on the sprocket too it loses torque of course but boosts max speed up nicely hehe... But yeah umm what are you droppin the clutch at? weight does make a big difference tho give us some specs on you lol also if you drivin a M3 and a riding a bike I wanna know how the hell you afford takin it to the shop for routine checks on that M3 my old Beamer was expensive as hell so I got rid of it lol, not to mention the keep up on bikes isnt too cheap either...

dropin a tooth on the front doesnt loose torque u will gain it more in the low to mid range and loose alittle off your top end probly 10%
