I don't think it should affect your speedo but will make you quicker with less top end speed

Yeah I know its off but was wounding if anyone might know by how much. the front sprocket is -2 teeth, the reason I know its off is was on the interstate and was going 80 and had cars just passing me left and right. Which didnt surprise me but it wasnt just a few it was a ton.

simple arithmatic my friend...well, not completely simple, but i don't know how many teeth the factory sprocket had vs. the new one.

ex 50 tooth original; 55 tooth aftermarket

speed would be 2.5% off...or something

I dont know about newer bikes, but my speedo is cable driven off the front wheel,so sproket size doesnt make one bit of difference

the 03-04 zx6r and 03-04 zx6rr came stock with 15-40 sprockets, if u went -2 up front that means u added 6 teeth to the back, every tooth u drop up front its like addin 3 to the back sprocket, usually u loose 10% of your topend when u drop a tooth up front, so u do the math

Look at it this way... Your speedo is off from the get go. If you want correct speedo, you need a speedohealer, yellowbox, or something along those lines to correct the factory inaccuracy and give you realtime speed and distance.

I went -1 in the front on the 06, threw my speedo 8 MPH off and my millage 7 miles off. Put mine back to stop and bought a PC3.
