those who have lowered 06 zx6rr?

hello i recently lowered my 06 zx6rr 2 inches in the rear. those of you that have lowered it does the shock hit the swingarm. the damper sits really close to it and when i hit a big bump i think its hits. would putting preload raise it up or would i have to turn the coil counter clockwise?

jus an update in case anyone finds this thread searching for info i figured out what was wrong. turns out the previous owner installed the top shock mount the wrong way and made the shock lean twords the swingarm. flipped the bracket over the right way now the shock sits corectly and does not hit anymore.

My friend has a 06 with a 1.25" drop in the rear. His shocks dont hit, but whenever hes on a bumpier road, or has somebody on the back, his lower fairing in the middle of the bike scrapes like crazy. I thought abbout lowering mine, but from all the feedback i got here, it's best to leave it alone. If you wanna sit a lil lower, shave ur seat foam down.
