HID Beams

I was gonna put pure white 10K HID lighting on my 6. I want both beams to run on low beam, as opposed to just the one on low and both on high. I wanted to get duals, each has its own seprate ballast connected. Is this all I need to make both lights turn on at once on low beam? Does this connect directly to the stock low/high switch or is there usually an aux switch or something.
Reason I'm doing this is because another kid around my way got killed on his bike by a driver merging into his lane and hitting him head on at about 70 mph. That one little low beam at night scares me a little. I never think anyone can see me.
