I've been running my '05 636 with a s/o Akra and no PC - definite difference in handling as the center of gravity has moved a bit lower and more forward (due to the lighter titanium can). Top end is sweeter (not to mention the new sound!) but I have noticed a bit of a hp lag in low/mid rpm....guess I will be getting the PC after all! Heard the Leo sounds really hot - not sure of performance...

I have an akra and I'm not sure on the "official" weight, but this thing is light as a feather man. All titanium and carbon fiber. I can't see it weighing more than a couple pounds. I did some research and I made my choice based primarily on performance. Loud is good, but gains are first and foremost. Like you, I didn't worry about price when it came to my exhaust, in the end I was also between the akra and the LV, I bought what I think was the best for me, and that was the akra. The akra just looks so clean on the 6. Some people say it isn't very loud compared to other makes, but remove that silencer and it'll scream.
Also, if you do buy the akra, read my post about how to remove the sound dampener.

nice, but that wasn't what I meant. my clip is the only one of that pipe that you can hear revving past 4k or at all for that matter. In the end, you're gonna buy the pipe that you like the look of. you can't go wrong with the leo or the akra. team attack and monster kawasaki use both of them...
