Exclamation 95 zx6r How do i jumpstart it? HELP PLEASE! How do I get the seat off?

How do i get the seat off to get to the battery?

Find a step hill, put it into 2nd, start rollin! I never heard of anyone actually jumping a bike with jumper cables, if that is the reason why you need to take the seat off. I wouldn't try it even if it was possible.

get someone to push you between 5 and 10 miles an hour,give it ALITTLE gas, then pop the clutch.

you can jumpstart a bike just like a car Ive done it many times but like everyone else said push starting it the easiest way to go. just find a buddy or 2 from work or somewhere and go for it.

now that its light outside i figured it out myself. i tried the push starting thing, it didn't work. had to jump it with my car. it worked just fine.

glad you got it started, but for future reference, if you didn't know, do not turn the car on when jumping the bike. The alternator puts out to many amps and you run a very high risk of blowing the ECU.

Glad you got it started, and didn't F' anything up. Does you battery need to be replaced or was it just drained?
