BikeLitez Rear SS Fender Eliminator Kit Installation Help!
Ok, I've been at this for at least 5 days now and I am unable to get this thing completely working!
I emailed bikelitez on thursday and they called me the next day, the guy I spoke to told me that I had to connect ALL the grounds (black wires) to the ground on the kit. So, I did that and it still isnt working. I got Brent's cell number (I guess the manager or something of BikeLitez) but no answer, so I left a message (last friday) and I still haven't gotten a call back.
Anyways, I was hoping someone who has installed this thing may be able to help me, I took some pics of what I am doing...
Instructions:
Light Bar Wires --> Stock Wires
White (running light) --> Red
Red (brake light) --> Blue
Black (ground) --> Black
Yellow (left turn signal) --> Green
Orange (right turn signal) --> Green
Tag Light Wires (black goes to black on light bar; red goes to white on light bar)
Any help will be very appreciated!

Also, the only thing that works are the turn signals, the running light or brake light doesnt work! :(

Have you tried just hooking the running and brake lights directly to a power source to make sure they work at all??

Good idea, actually, i know the brake light works because I accidently hooked up one of the turn signals and when I flipped the switch, the brake like started flashing, so I know thats good to go...
Damn it, I wish this wasn't so hard!

Once you are sure that everything works like it is supposed to... try going through and hooking up one thing at a time to make sure your not hooking something up backwards or mismatched.
If you can be sure that there is voltage coming to the wire your splicing from the proper source and you know that the light works like it should, then putting the two things together should only yield an obvious result.

I go to try it (for the 4th time) tomorrow, it's rainin' cats and dogs here. But to confirm to your earlier post, I should be able to hook up the light I want wire to the (+) side of the battery and it should come on right. Just want to make sure, i don't want anything blowing out. I am going to try this for the running light just to make sure it's working (I'm sure it is).
I'll be back tomorrow... Night' all

It sounds as though every light has a separate ground. So you have to make sure your grounds are connected first.
Then as stated, connect one at a time to see if they work while holding them together. You shouldn't short out anything. Sometimes electrical wiring for lighting can be a PITA... but in the end, you'll find one little thing that you didn't do that caused all the problems. Good luck, and I hope they get back to you soon.

Well since it is a new bike I was going to call you a tard (lol jk) I just got an email from BikeLitez, it woke me up actually (Gotta Luv the Blackberry). They said the same thing you did. I'm not sure if they are just saying that because I told them to check out this link or what, but I am more inclined it may be a fuse too. I do recall leaving the power on and trying to connect the wires (I forgot to power down before I hooked on up) and MAY have heard a pop... Looks like I'm the tard here. I, by no means am technically challenged (network engineer here ) you would think connect ethernet cables all day would make me an expert at this), but trying to get this thing to work has left me feeling kinda dumb I was going to jump out of bed to check in see, but I gotta get up early in the morning, so the project continues on tomorrow evening.
Next question would be where is this fuse. I am going to assume that there is only one "fuse box" location, and that is under the seat near the battery, right? I've pulled that thing out several times already, but never looked in there. If I am in the right direction, which fuse should I be looking out for?

Fuse Box Location...
I located this little piece of info on another forum. If it is correctly, I guess it can be used for someone needing help on this in the future.
"the fuse box that controls the lights is actually located underneath the right hand panel near the tachometer(under neath the throttle). you need to remove the right fairing and you will see it there.
-Stem"
I'm checking this out now...

no problem, glad you got it figured out. I had a feeling it was because I bought my old bike used and it had a ton of light wiring problems... I went through my fair share of fuses.
