No way..Not until its' all done!
I am trying to get it back to the shop for the airbrushing but my knee flared up again from my bike wreck last summer. Now my knee is twice it's size, not really good for riding.
Depending on what the doc says tomorrow I am trying to get it up there as soon as possible.

Well sorry yall, my knee went bad last Monday and put me in the hospital for a week. I thought it was a flare up from my bike wreck last summer, but apparantly I was bitten by something and it got infected. My diabetes made it even worse. So I was laid up for 4 days getting poked and prodded and didn't get anything done. Now I'm on crutches and can't ride.
So I have decided to trailer the bike to the paint shop today to get it finished. I'm telling you NOTHING short of the hand of God is going to stop me from finishing. I just hope my knee is good by the time it is done.

Well bike is in shop. He is buffing it now, otherwise just waiting for the airbrush guy to come out and do his thing.
Also had to buy a battery for it, kept going dead.
Thats it for now. Oh yeah, the knee is doing much better, but it is really hard on top as if I was constantly flexing. And it's really stiff. Still I rode a buddies 05' GSXR 600 last night with minimal discomfort so I should be okay..

Okay heres the scoop.
I went out yesterday and rode the bike to the air brush guy to hurry things up.
He came up with some awesome ideas, but then quoted my $700!!
I called my paint guy to see how much I owed him for his part, he said around $400 so I think it will be okay.
This guy does awesome work, he wants to drape the flag all the way to the rear fender, add some color highlights, tatter it, etc.. Best thing is he says it will be done by Friday because he is waiting on paint for the project he was going to do this week.
So hopefully I will have some pics by the first part of next week!

Well, it’s only been a month between updates this time, LOL…
Airbrushing is done. Guy went WAY farther than I wanted him to, I wanted to keep it simple. Still, he did a good job.
I am picking it all up tomorrow and bringing it home to reassemble. That was I am not waiting another 6 months for my bike.
So what do you think?

ha ha. Not sure exactly what the building is. I pass it on my way to work. It sits in front of a grainery of some type, but doesn't seem to be a part of it. I would have liked to have parked right up front for pics but it is fenced in.

Again, good job on the bike.

What's the difference, if any, in the "ride" after you dropped it?
Also, did you do the airbrushing yourself?

nahh, the airbrushing ran me 700 bucks unfortunately..
Didn't notice much of a difference after the drop, of course I only rode it once before I took it apart.
I have lowered all my bikes though, naturally you will lose some cornering when leaning but other than that I have always been happy with it. Just depends on how you ride.
